Statement sleeves, pale pink and ruffles are a must have for spring 2017. The light-colored pink – as subtle as a flower – may seem to promise some pretty innocence and virtue especially when used in one-color outfits. Exaggerated sleeves can guarantee a more playful look for your most romantic summer yet. Regardless if overlong, oversized or trumpet sleeves you cannot wear tops without statement sleeves. Ruffles are cute and playful – so why not combine them with straight and classical silhouettes?

To put all these spring fashion trends together, I decided to wear a pale pink ruffle shift dress. It is made of stretchy woven fabric, has a round neck and the sleeves are ruffled. The shift dress isn’t quite molded to the figure and fits slightly loose. If you want to accentuate your waistline, you can add a belt as well.

All in all, it’s a welcome change in clothes which goes hand in hand with the changes in the weather. Warm breezes of air flow even through the darker (more shaded) areas in the park – so there is no way of escaping the sun.

The outfit goes perfectly with the pink and rosy cherry blossoms and roses in the background which is shot in the botanical garden in Munich. Fabulous to spend your first days of spring here.
